Based on the following curriculum standard provided under Evaluation the students will make a list of concepts, facts, principles and
procedures they think are important for their audience.
They will then decide on how they will present their lesson based on their audience. Some suggestions regarding the probable
inexperience of their audience regarding cricket would be:
Create a glossary
Link certain aspects of cricket to other, more popular sports like baseball
Utilize visuals such as pictures or diagrams
Include student involvement in demonstrations in the lesson plan
The students will then write out a proposed lesson. Be sure to have them include a way to introduce cricket, a part in which new information is provided, a time in which students practice what they've learned and get feedback, and an opportunity to tie it all together.
